Booking & Prices

We take full week bookings (Friday to Friday) from mid-March to the end of October, and weekend, midweek and full week bookings from November to mid-March. Winter weekends or midweeks are £250 for either two or three nights, or £360-£395 for the full week (excluding Christmas, New Year and Half Term weeks).

We will hold provisional telephone bookings for a few days and confirm bookings on receipt of a deposit (as shown on the tariff sheet). Payment in full is to be made six weeks prior to arrival by cheque made payable to Sally Ltd (please send cheques to Sally Fielding at Rivendell, Bassenthwaite, Keswick, Cumbria, CA12 4QP).

Guests are asked to vacate the cottage by 12noon on the day of departure and not to arrive before 5pm to allow for additional cleaning and maintenance. However, we do expect our guests to leave the cottage in a clean and orderly condition!

Electricity, oil, and linen are included in the price. You will need to bring your own towels.

The cottage operates a no smoking policy.

Pets are welcome but I'm afraid we can only accept one dog per booking (unless by prior consent). We charge £15 per dog to cover additional cleaning costs.
