Booking & Prices

We take full week bookings (Saturday to Saturday) from mid-March to the end of October, and weekend, midweek and full week bookings from November to mid-March. Winter weekends or midweeks are £230 for the Farmhouse or £200 in Cottages 2&3 for either two or three nights. For a full week in winter the price is £360 for the Farmhouse or £330 for Cottage 3 or £295 for Cottage 2 (excluding Christmas, New Year and Half Term weeks).

We will hold provisional telephone bookings for a few days and confirm bookings on receipt of a £100 deposit. Payment in full is to be made six weeks prior to arrival by cheque made payable to DJ Kaminski (please send cheques to Sally Fielding at Rivendell, Bassenthwaite, Keswick, Cumbria, CA12 4QP).

Guests are asked to vacate the cottage by 10am on the day of departure and not to arrive before 3pm to allow for additional cleaning and maintenance. However, we do expect our guests to leave the cottage in a clean and orderly condition!

Electricity, oil, and linen are included in the price. You need to bring your own towels.

The cottage operates a no smoking policy.

Pets are welcome in the Farmhouse but I'm afraid we cannot accept pets in Cottages 2&3 (unless by prior consent).
