BURNTHWAITE FARM COTTAGE: ACCOMMODATION

With views over the Wasdale fells, Burnthwaite Cottage is ideal for walkers looking to take advantage of the hundreds of walks right from the front door of the accommodation, including Scafell Pike and Great Gable. The cottage offers comfortable accommodation on one floor.

The front door leads to a small cloakroom to hang coats which takes you to the kitchen which is equipped with an electric cooker, microwave, fridge, tape player and radio. There is a laundry area in one of the barns with washing machine and tumble drier which you are welcome to use (shared with the main farmhouse). There is also a shared freezer that you can use. The kitchen also has table and dining chairs for four people.

The sitting room has a two person sofa and two armchairs with an additional electric fire for cooler evenings. There is a television with video player (plus a selection of videos). Please note that there is no TV or mobile reception at Burnthwaite Farm so the television is for video use only.

The hallway leads to two bedrooms, one double and one twin. Both have bedside tables, chest of drawers and a wardrobe.

There is also a bathroom which has an electric shower over the bath.

There is a bench by the front door to sit and watch the sun go down. There is also a shared garden with the farmhouse which takes B&B guests.

The cottage is heated by electric storage heaters. The beds are made up for you and towels are provided.

Pets are welcome at an additional charge of £15 per dog (maximum three dogs).
