CHAPEL COTTAGE: ACCOMMODATION

Chapel Cottage

Refurbished in 2007, Chapel Cottage is lovely throughout with fantastic views over the Duddon Valley. The sitting room is light and airy with a cosy open fire, leather sofas and TV with DVD player.

Downstairs there are two double bedrooms (one of which has an ensuite shower room with WC). There is also a bathroom downstairs.

The third bedroom is upstairs and has two single beds (please note that this room has a sloping roof).

The gardens are beautiful. There is an enclosed garden to the front of the house. Mature gardens (with patio area) at the back lead to woods and fells beyond (dogs and children should not be unsupervised in the back garden, which also has chickens).

  • The cottage is heated by oil central heating
  • A shared driveway leads to parking for two cars (please note that the driveway is quite steep and should be taken slowly - it is not suitable for sports cars or cars with low ground clearance so you may have to park along the road).
  • Pets are welcome at Chapel Cottage (limited to one only, unless by prior permission) and charged at £15. We ask that they are not left in the cottage alone and do not use the furniture at all.
  • The cottage is on its own private water supply.
  • The cottage is a no smoking cottage.
  • There is no mobile reception in the Duddon Valley.
  • The owners live in the annex next door to the cottage so they are on hand should any problems arise.
