Crag Lea Cottage

The view from the front of the cottage

Crag Lea nestles in the picturesque village of Grange in the Borrowdale valley. The small hallway leads into a large sitting room with TV and video player. The windows look out to views of fields and mountains to the front, and yet more fields and mountains to the back.

The sitting room leads into the kitchen which is fully furnished with fridge, cooker, microwave and plenty of storage space. It also has a dining area with a table for six people.

There is a utility area with washer-drier, additional tumble drier and freezer beyond the kitchen, as well as an additional room with WC. There is also a drying room here (handy for drying clothes after being out walking in wet lake district weather!).

Upstairs are three bedrooms (two doubles and one twin) plus a bathroom with bath & overhead shower attachment. We also have a travel cot that you are welcome to use - we do ask, though, that you bring linen for the cot. All linen is provided for the beds upstairs.

Outside is a patio area with a lawn beyond and views out to the mountains of Borrowdale. There is also a garage to park your car in. Alternatively there is space at the front of the house to park two cars.

Pets are more than welcome in the cottage, although we are unable to accept more than one dog (unless by prior consent). We do ask that dogs are kept downstairs - we have a policy of not allowing dogs in the bedrooms upstairs.

The cottage has a no-smoking policy.

There is oil central heating throughout the cottage.
