| FOX PARKE HOLIDAY
COTTAGE
Fox Parke is a traditional seaside bungalow with views
of the beach and sea beyond (on the image above it is the red bungalow).
The accommodation is suitable for most disabled use and is less
than a couple of minutes walk to the beach. The sea front is also
suitable for children with a play area and a pretend castle to get
lost in.

Within walking distance are two hotels with bars and
restaurants, a fish and chip shop, chinese takeaway, pizza take
away, village stores/newsagents, bakery, NatWest bank, butchers,
post office, hardware shop, chemist/greengrocer, health centre,
bowling green, beauty parlour and golf course.
Seascale is also an ideal base for those who would
like to explore the Western Lake District. Wasdale is a 15 minute
drive away with Wastwater Lake (England's deepest lake), Scafell
Pike (England's highest mountain), St Olaf's Church (England's smallest
church) and the venue of England's biggest liar (held at Santon
Bridge Inn).

Eskdale is another lovely valley, only 15 minutes
drive away, with hundreds of low-level as well as mountain walks.
It also houses a terminus for the Ravenglass
and Eskdale Steam Railway - a popular train that travels seven
scenic miles to the coastal village of Ravenglass.

Ravenglass with Muncaster
Castle, Gardens and Owl Centre is ten minutes away and has lots
going on at different times of the year.
