This 16th Century Cottage rests among the mountains of the famous Lake District National Park. Accessed by private road, the property benefits from an idyllic location in the heart of the Western lakes. With five bedrooms, one ensuite, and two further bathrooms, the property easily sleeps ten people. Recently renovated and refurbished to a high standard, the property boasts the latest in modern convenience while maintaining the intimate features of a classic lakeland cottage. Views of Scafell and the Esk valley greet visitors from the windows and gardens. Numerous walks invite you outdoors - whether for a leisurely stroll among the hills and tarns, a quick trip to one of the two pubs within walking distance, or a serious assault on Scafell Pike, the highest mountain in England. Wastwater, the deepest lake in England, is a four mile walk from the property.
