| HIDEAWAY BARN: ACCOMMODATION
The accommodation at Hideaway Barn is luxurious to
say the least. With stone flagged floors, wooden floor boards and
antique furniture, Hideaway Barn combines fine taste with the comfort
of modern living.

The kitchen is large with dishwasher, microwave, a large gas cooking
range, fridge, separate freezer, washing machine, tumble drier.
There is plenty of storage and preparation space and a table to
seat six should you wish to dine in the kitchen. A welcome pack
of tea, coffee, milk and biscuits/cake greets you upon arrival.
For those who like to be woken with fresh coffee, there is a cafetiere
with coffee provided.

The sitting room is large with sumptuous leather sofas and a wood
burning stove. The curtains are heavy giving the room a cosy feel
in the winter. In summer, French windows look out onto the garden
with views of the fells beyond. There is TV with DVD and video player
here, as well as a mini hifi player.

The master bedroom is accessed by its own set of stairs and has
an ensuite shower room, and a walk in wardrobe area. The bed is
king sized although you could be forgiven for thinking that it looks
rather small in this large, airy room.

The other two bedrooms (one double and one twin) are located up
a second set of stairs and share a bathroom the stairs. The bathroom
has a free standing bath which once more is dwarfed by the generous
proportions of the room itself.

Outside is a large garden with a patio area. There are hundreds
of walks right from the front door although you will rarely see
a soul here, even when the rest of the Lake District is heaving.

Pets are welcome although we ask that they are absolutely not let
into the bedrooms upstairs and not left alone in the house while
you are out (due to the antique furniture). We charge an extra £15
for dogs and can allow one only at the Barn.
