Hollin Head is one of the Lake District cottages let by Sally Fielding. Sally has cottages across the Lake District but as she grew up in Eskdale she has many in this beautiful valley and the neighbouring valley of Wasdale. This area of the Lake District is quieter than some of the others and this allows you to experience the true peace and tranquillity of this most wonderful part of the country.

There are plenty of great local pubs in the Western Lake District with lots of local produce on offer, there are also lots of farm shops which are great when you are self catering. Lake District fells are a great place for dogs and we have many pet friendly cottages.
