The Accommodation

Little Parrock

Built in Victorian times, Little Parrock has been extensively refurbished and redecorated over the past year to provide accommodation of a first class standard. Spacious and sleeping 10 (plus cot) it is ideal for large family gatherings or for parties of walkers and friends.

The Sitting Room


The sitting room to the left and the dining room to the right mirror each other and are reached via a grand hallway. Both rooms boast high ceilings and Victorian bay windows. Although there is central heating throughout, real log fires provide a cheerful atmosphere with added warmth on cold winter evenings. The sitting room has TV, video and DVD player. The dining room encourages convivial mealtimes with its long dining table which easily seats ten.

The kitchen boasts lovely views of the garden against a backdrop of never ending fells and mountains. It has been fully modernised and has dishwasher, washer-drier, microwave, and oven. It is reached by a large breakfast room which catches the afternoon sun.

Back in the hallway, the staircase curves round to a large square landing, shared by five bedrooms - two king-size doubles, one double, one triple and one single. There are two bathrooms, one with bath & shower, and the other with a bath.

At the back of the house there is a beautiful spacious garden which catches the sunshine through most of the day. A large lawn area is flanked by a herbaceous border. There is also a summerhouse for the children to play in.
