Booking Information

We take full week bookings (Saturday to Saturday) throughout the year. Weekend bookings are £195 (three nights) in the off-peak season (end Oct to Easter).

We will hold provisional telephone bookings for three days and confirm bookings on receipt of a deposit (as shown on the tariff sheet). Payment in full is to be made six weeks prior to arrival by cheque made payable to Sally Ltd (please send cheques to Sally & Rob Fielding at Rivendell, Bassenthwaite, Keswick, Cumbria, CA12 4QP).

Guests are asked to vacate the cottage by 10am on the day of departure and not to arrive before 3pm to allow for additional cleaning and maintenance. However, we do expect our guests to leave the cottage in a clean and orderly condition!

Electricity and heating (storage heaters) are included in the price. The beds are freshly made up for you. Towels are available at an extra £2.50 per person - please let us know in advance if you require these. Tea towels for the kitchen are provided.

Pets are accepts at Bank Barn only with prior permission - there is an extra £15 charge per dog. Please note that the cottage is on a farm and so dogs must be kept on a lead. We ask that dogs are not left alone in the cottage and are kept off the furniture and out of the bedrooms & bathroom downstairs.
