| POTTER'S
BARN: AVAILABILITY & PRICES
We take full week
bookings (Saturday to Saturday) throughout the year. Weekend bookings
are £210 (three nights) in the off-peak season (end Oct to
Easter).
We will hold provisional telephone bookings for a few days and
confirm bookings on receipt of a deposit (as shown on the tariff
sheet). Payment in full is to be made six weeks prior to arrival
by cheque made payable to Sally Ltd (and sent to Sally & Rob
Fielding at Wallthwaite, Troutbeck, Penrith, Cumbria, CA12 4QP). You can also call us on 017687 79445 and pay by card (there is a 2.5% fee for credit card payments, no charge for debit cards).
Guests are asked to vacate the cottage by 10.30am on the day of
departure and not to arrive before 4pm to allow for additional cleaning
and maintenance. However, we do expect our guests to leave the cottage
in a clean and orderly condition!
A separate cheque
for £50 or a card number to be provided on arrival, is required
as a deposit for damage, to be returned if no damage is done.
Heating is by mains gas with a central heating system on the first
floor and a log effect fire in the sitting room which can be used
separately during the evening. The barn has two foot thick walls
so it is a warm place on chilly days. One shower and the cooker
oven are electric. Meter readings are taken at the start and completion
of your stay and we ask for payment on the day you leave. All gas
and electricity used is charged at cost. During winter, the cost
tends to be around £15.
A cot and high chair can be supplied
upon request. All bed linen is provided although we do ask you to
bring your own towels (these can be provided at extra cost if your
travel arrangements mean you are unable to bring them - please contact
us in advance).
We accept one pet at Potter's Barn by prior permission only. There
is an extra charge of £15 for a dog.
