Whin Rigg Holiday Cottage

The kitchen at Whin Rigg is fully equipped with electric cooker, microwave, diswasher, washing machine and plenty of storage space - there is even a pantry for extra storage. It has a small breakfast table and french windows leading out to the patio which is south facing.

The dining room provides seating for up to eight people and has easy access to the kitchen.

There are two sitting rooms downstairs. The main sitting room is light and spacious with french windows leading out to a second patio area and the main garden. There is TV and video player and an open fire.

The second sitting room is smaller with seating for four or five people. There are a variety of board games to choose from here.

There is also a toilet and washbasin downstairs.

Upstairs there are four bedrooms - two doubles (one ensuite), one twin and one set of bunks. There is also a bathroom with a shower above the bath.

The garden outside is large and spacious - in the picture below you can just make out the fence at the end of the garden before you reach fields and then the fells and mountains beyond. There is private, off-road parking for up to four cars.

There are dozens of walks straight from the front door of Whin Rigg - either along the valley bottom or up the fells and mountains.

The cottage is no-smoking throughout and has oil central heating. Pets are welcome but I'm afraid we can only accept one dog per booking (unless by prior consent).
