WOOD BARN HOLIDAY COTTAGE

Wood Barn is a beautiful barn conversion, recently completed to very high standards. The barn offers excellent accommodation for either couples or up to four people in the valley of upper Eskdale.

The cottage nestles in the Eskdale fells, approx 150 yards from the nearest road (which in itself is little used), yet it is only a 7/8 minute walk from the Woolpack Inn in one direction, or 10-15 minutes walk from Brook House Inn and the Boot Inn in the opposite direction. The Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway is just a mile away.

The cottage is ideally placed for some of the best walking in the Lake District National Park with hundreds of walks right from the door.

The village shop and post office, Eskdale Stores, sells a comprehensive range of goods, including groceries, fresh fruit and vegetables, food to go, alcohol and newspapers. The shop is in the centre of Eskdale, about 2 miles from Woodbarn.
